What are some common user examples?
If an accountant is on a desktop Zoom call and needs to access a spreadsheet from her laptop, she no longer must disrupt her workflow, toggle to a second device, and retrieve the file. That file is now instantly accessible from her keyboard.
If a worker wants to create a report on a train during her commute, her options are a bulky laptop or a hard-to-use touchscreen phone or tablet. The Majestic keyboard’s native OS allows her to work more efficiently directly from her keyboard during her commute.
For hybrid workers, the Glyph keyboard allows them to effortlessly take work between home and the office – just unplug and plug back in to pick up where you left off.
The Glyph keyboard also replaces conventional stream decks that use LCD keys to streamline tasks for streamers (switching scenes, launching media, Tweeting, adjusting audio, etc.). Our keyboard enables the same level of easy task control.

+Why do I need the Glyph?
While computers and peripherals have been redefined and re-imagined, the keyboard remains little more than an input device with iterative improvements. Modern keyboards offer no standalone computing value or connection between the many different devices the average person uses.
This means people must constantly toggle between their devices if they receive a notification or need to access a file. Workflows are often disrupted given the inherent stickiness of smartphones.
Majestic Devices has revamped the keyboard by making it a bridge that connects all computing devices. Instead of constant toggling, users can receive notifications and access files from their phones or laptops seamlessly in one place.
+How does the Glyph work?
Our keyboard is designed to be plug and play! Each Glyph Keyboard has a fully compatible OS and a 7- inch screen. Users simply connect their smartphone, laptop or other device via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB-C.
The Glyph utilizes new USB-C 3+ technology, long-standing HID connection communications, and newest WIFI/Bluetooth iterations.The Glyph can establish a connection to any device(s) of your choosing without needing to download a specialized driver. From there, our various proprietary software will enable you to perform any of the aforementioned functions depending on the task. Once unplugged, the battery life will allow you to use the Glyph as a wireless stand alone device. At the heart, the Glyph will feature the newest Snapdragon processor.
+How does the Glyph differ from gimmicky keyboards with screens attached to them?
Other Keyboards with screens attached or behind the keys are interesting to look at, but serve no practical application purpose and in many ways represent a downgrade from a standard keyboard. These products lack basic features and inferior typing experience. Even the expensive macropad equivalents offer limited usage for streamers and work warriors.

The Glyph Keyboard is specifically designed to perform 100% of all tasks on those devices, either as an extension of the desktop experience or as a stand- alone device, with the added benefit of a full custom mechanical keyboard typing experience. It ultimately works as a control-hub and organizer to all of your devices; while giving you access to laptop-like functionality whenever and wherever you need it.
+Is the Glyph meant to replace my keyboard, macropad, or audio interface?
Yes! Why have all that clutter on your desk when 1 device can do it all? The Glyph Keyboard is the only control device you will ever need for your personal, work, or gaming computer.
+What software/hardware will the main features be compatible with?
Mac OS, Windows 8-11, popular Linux distributions, IOS, and Android.
+Will proprietary software be needed or downloaded on my devices?
The Glyph Keyboard will launch with all existing proprietary apps, and our own native app store to expand the product capabilities. Our Appstore will feature our own apps, and be primarily community driven.
+Is this project going to be open-source in any capacity?
We welcome all owners of the Glyph to develop and customize their experience. Therefore, we will be rolling out a free development software once it’s in a refined state. Additionally, we plan to publish legacy versions of our proprietary software(s) for various platforms like the Raspberry Pi so that anyone who wants to make a DIY Glyph Keyboard at home, can! Hopefully we can all grow together and make some beautiful things in unison.

Absolutely, The Glyph Keyboard is an extension of your current devices and is designed to do everything a computer or tablet can do.

+How long will the battery last?
The Glyph has an 8-10 hour battery life during regular usage, a 24 hour battery life in battery saving mode, and approximately one week battery life in keyboard only mode.
+What can I plug the USB-C 3+ port into, besides a computer?
The Glyph Keyboard is designed to work with tablets, smartphones, servers, and any other device with 3.0 or newer USB-C connection. USB 1.0 and 2.0 will also be supported with limited access to main features. Additionally, the Glyph can be connected to an external monitor or television to initialize a "desktop" mode similar to those from major mobile companies (Samsung Dex, Xiaomi Desktop, etc.)
+What storage options are available?
The Glyph Keyboard will come in a variety of storage options ranging from 128gb to 2tb, but the micro SDXC slot will allow for expandable memory up to 4tb.
+Can I have design, hardware choices, and software features input?
Majestic Devices strives to be a community driven organization, as such, design input or feedback is welcome, and will receive consideration among our design team.
